A naturally elegant addition to any kitchen counter, peka's new Piuro product family is aesthetically defined by its clean lines. Its distinctive design exudes calm and helps to create an uncluttered overall feel.

The family of high-quality kitchen organisers consists of six products: a small tray, Piuro Mini Tray; its larger counterpart, Piuro Maxi Tray; the Piuro Box storage box; the Piuro Sink caddy; the Piuro Board chopping board holder; and the Piuro Paper kitchen roll holder.

Covering an array of applications with just a few core items: that's the philosophy behind peka's latest family of base unit pull-outs. The metal fabricators and storage professionals have come up with a truly ingenious product system.

Pinello is the name of peka's newly launched product family, and it covers all the functions you could want from a base unit.

Pinello Spice is the slender pull-out spice rack that fits in a 150-mm-wide unit. Designed for unit widths of 200 and 300 mm, Pinello Cargo is the 'big daddy' of the family, boasting an incredible amount of storage space. Pinello Towel is an extending towel rail while Pinello Board provides easy access to boards and trays. There's even Pinello Bread, intended specifically for that most ubiquitous of foods. As well as fulfilling their designated functions, Pinello Towel, Board and Bread also offer additional storage space. Last but not least, Pinello can also be sold as a purely internal pull-out for furniture with hinged doors and is used, for example, next to the waste bin to store cleaning materials.

Benefits at a glance

As usual with peka products, Pinello pull-outs are made of coated sheet steel, which has some first-rate advantages as a material. It can be made into thin-walled yet highly stable products, guaranteeing the best possible use of available space. The shelves have closed bases that stop bottles and small items from toppling over or falling through. They are also incredibly easy to clean.

One unit, two spaces. Riverso is a unique system that allows drawers to be opened from both sides, whether in island units or room dividers. peka's latest invention opens up completely new possibilities for the use of space.

A drawer that can be pulled out on both sides means that the same unit can be accessed from two different sides. This offers countless possibilities to use space in new ways and make day-to-day processes more efficient. "Passing items through the unit instead of carrying them around it saves a huge amount of walking!," says peka's Deputy CEO Sandra Weber. For a typical example of how Riverso can be used in homes, imagine a cutlery drawer in an island unit or room divider which can be opened from both the kitchen and the dining area.

Businesses, too, have started to see the potential of drawers that are accessible from both sides. Riverso is perfect for display units in showrooms, for instance, as it means that two salespeople can access the same items at the same time. Simplifying product flows is also beneficial in medical settings such as pharmacies, hospitals and laboratories, where rooms and spaces need to be divided up, substantial distances are involved, and complex access procedures may be in force. Being able to exchange materials easily via a drawer makes a lot of processes simpler.

Quality down to the last detail

Riverso uses a full-extension drawer runner with a load capacity of 40 kg. The runner technology, made by Grass, has excellent sliding properties. The runner also has built-in soft-closing mechanisms for added user-friendliness.

peka's handy larder unit just got even more efficient. The new version of Pleno Plus boasts a winning combination of more generous shelves and better use of vertical and horizontal space.

Pleno Plus has always offered impressively easy access to the entire unit contents, no matter how high or how far back they are. It's all thanks to the special way the system works: when the door is opened, all the shelves glide out together so that all the unit's contents are displayed. Because the upper shelves are also split between the door and the cabinet, even short users can reach any item stored in the unit quickly and comfortably.

It goes without saying that this feature has been retained in the new Pleno Plus, but the new version also boasts extra-large shelves that are wider and deeper than before. It also makes even better use of the unit height.

Liro is the new shelf line from peka. Its design offers scope for creative freedom.

Liro shelves fit with the customer's style as they can be combined with rails for a tailor-made look. Users can choose to pair the shelves with rails made of solid oak, which are the perfect complement to wooden front panels and warm colours, or, alternatively, they can opt for glass, compact laminates, aluminium or another material. Without rails, Liro shelves ooze calm sophistication. Combined with inserted rails, they create an eye-catching effect as the unit door is opened.
